On Easter Sunday, I wore orange. There is something so exciting about dressing spontaneously. It was supposed to rain that day and we had planned to stay in. At the very last minute, new plans shone through, along with the sun and I grabbed this eye-popping bright blouse without a second thought. Lunch turned out to be delicious and the company entertaining.

Talk about killer shoes. These spiked Sam Edelman heels will definitely spice up just about any outfit: day or night. They have such a prim and proper front, while the back is all about the prickly attitude. Of course I had to pair them with skinny jeans, a vintage bag and a crisp, white classic button up to a business meeting.
What is it about cropped knits that is so irresistible? The addition of the cute bulldog on the oatmeal brown top makes it all the more adorable. So why not pair something so precious with edgy, ripped jeans, aviator boots and a brown leather bag? I know Summer is nearly here... yet, shearling lined boots just felt right amidst all the wind.

When it comes to fashion, sometimes you just crave some comfort in between all of the costumery. It's one of the many reasons I like to stack up on slightly baggy sweaters and skinny jeans. And this Wildfox sweater, in particular, is extra cozy and extremely plush.
I detest going to to grocery store unless it's in preparation for a party or a fun meal I can't wait to make. Otherwise, it's simply a chore. I tend to treat myself at the market... to fruit, to celebrity gossip filled tabloids or.... cosmetics! This is my latest find. Cover Girl Lip Perfection Lipstick in a slightly peachy pink shade. Aptly titled Fairy Tale. For just under $7 you can treat your lips to a flattering blast of color this summer, one that moisturizes too. I just had to share... Happy Easter!

Summer seems to be synonymous with shorts. After months spent covered up in cozy layers, it's just as fun to shed said layers for easy, effortless pieces. I remember picking these Imitation of Christ shorts up while working in Barneys New York. That was one of the best parts of that job... getting first pick when new shipments came in. I'm keen on the dark wash and high waisted fit.
