As much as I love chocolates, jewelry and romantic dinners... shoes make an even sweeter surprise. Especially when they are
Dolce & Gabbana, seude and in the shape of a pretty platform.
I finally got to experience snow this weekend, as in I'm walking in a Winter Wonderland kind of snow. We got 5 inches, roughly. I played, I ran, I threw snowballs and did plenty of sledding too.
The first fall was on Friday night
Saturday morning
and, Today.

Can't take these heels off. Funniest part is I got them over a month ago and am only just now wearing them. Closet cleanups are the best. For those who were inquiring in my last post on the socks, they're lambs wool from Bloomingdale's last Christmas. These partially fingerless gloves are not only fierce but functional.
I can easily access my iPod and cell while still keeping my hands warm and toasty. The forever 21 boutique piece was previously worn
here.
Living the charmed life is not about material possessions or status, it's about being a good person. If you can give any assistance or help to the people in Haiti, feel free to do so with the
Red Cross here.

Recently I have been: watching the night sky just after the rain clears, singing along to Britney Spears, watching My So-Called Life while snacking on cereal, dancing in the rain, writing inspirational quotes into my journal,
supporting Haiti, running in the park with Sweety, making strawberry smoothies, loving knee-socks, lounging in my vintage Mickey sweater, playing with kittens, tuning in to Golden Girls reruns, painting my nails Gothic black
a la Lincoln Park by OPI, practicing my whistling, settling into my favorite corner in Borders with a pile of fashion magazines, mocha coffee for breakfast, becoming makeup obsessed at
Sephora, reading
Nylon, hoping for Alexa Chung to make a US comeback, adoring
Catbreath's collaboration with Obey, finding my high school yearbooks and reminiscing, waking up to sunshine and warmth.

I've been craving a blanket-like accessory all Winter long. I finally found one. I love the comfort of just throwing on one big piece over your other layers. It's systematically comfortable and cool.
I got these
very Superhero worthy over the knee boots about a month ago. I finally got the opportunity to debut them, at a Barbecue party in the park yesterday. Roasting marshmallows, listening to mix CD's with friends and laughing at the silliest of things made for a fun night.
As a kid one of my favorite fairy tales was
The Little Match Girl.
