One night, while in New York, Alejandro and I went window shopping and dined on Cuban food. Both were scrumptious. When I arrived at Chanel, I wanted to go inside, unfortunately it was late and already closed. I felt a little like Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's gazing into the windows; minus the croissant, Givenchy dress and lavish jewels... of course.

I wore these boots all over the city and am slowly breaking them in. They are definitely becoming a Winter staple in addition to my Mom's vintage, ruffled coat. ...I hope she doesn't mind. ;)

Window shopping at places like Chanel always makes me feel fancy and classy. If only we all had that perfect Audrey look in our closet.

Breakfast at Tiffanys classy. Don't you wish you had that Givenchy dress on though? Though from what I hear she was really tiny...I always find it interesting when you see outfits from the early 1900-1970's how tiny people were.

yeah, the boots are def a hit. i'd love to add them to MY wardrobe.
I'd buy something similar but i already purchased 3 boots this year and a pair of loafers... My sweetie thinks i'm a bit out of control.. I always think i need just "one more pair" to complete my wardrobe, but i think its always work in progress. :-)

oh Chanel! Going into major designer stores and browsing is way less intimidating in NYC cause they're so used to all the tourists etc...here people judge you more and what you're capable of purchasing. too bad you didn't get to go in this time!
