ASH WEDGES (similar style here)
Ever since I saw this editorial in Teen Vogue magazine, I've wanted to try to recreate the look. And of course, own those Ash wedges; which I am quickly finding to be a permanent fixture to my summer wardrobe. Thanks to a lovely representative over at Sophistix who sent these shorts my way, among a few other fabulous pieces. The moment I saw them I was instantly reminded of the era of pantaloons and the type of dressing showcased on Showtime's television series hit, The Tudors. Jonathan Rhys Meyers would be proud. ;)
Under the Canopy t-shirt. Sophistix shorts. Marc Jacobs cardigan. Forever 21 sunglasses. Ash Wedges (similar style here). Vintage studded bag.

You did a great job recreating that editorial! I even like your shorts better than the ones in Teen Vogue, they have this Arabian flair. And I don't know, are your shoes exactly the same ones? I don't know, it seems to me as if yours are a softer shade, which I like more than the one in the editorial.
Those Ash wedges are awesome. I think they go with practically anything, so they're a very good investment! :)
I love balloon shorts. They are edgy, fashionable. Me, they remind of the ancient Middle East, but you're right - they had such trousers in the era of the Tudors too! Jonathan Rhys Meyers would melt if he saw you in these shorts! ;)

In answer to some of your Questions-
I'm 5'6" / 5'7"
Took me a little over 2yrs to get it to this length in particular. I use Garnier Fructis conditioners (especially leave-in) drinks loads of water and nosh on plenty of fresh fruit and veggies. That's about it.
